No, that’s not your eyes messing with you. That is indeed my Zune Card lying in limbo on my Vista desktop. There’s an awesome Vista Sidebar gadget that allows you to be able to keep track of your Zune Card without having to open your Zune Software or check Zune Social every 15 minutes.

Now I’m not sure what the lag time is for this and I also have to disclose that if you want to change the size you have to put in your Zune tag everytime, but it’s still pretty darn cool to have your Zune card available on the desktop like that.

You can also place more than one Zune Card on the screen. Just keep “installing” the gadget.

Ok, here's the scenario. If you want to update the card (and see recent plays), you have to go into the settings menu and 'cancel'. Then the card will update. That's pretty whack, but it would probably be hard to place a refresh button somewhere, I guess.
