And Now a Word From a Zune Fan:

A few weekends ago my roommate and I hosted a party. Towards the end of the party, I met a Zune owner and I asked her if she would be willing to say a few words about her Zune. First, this is the first interview I've ever done with my Omnia (yep I got a Windows Mobile phone after all). Second, following drunk girls with a camera is a difficult task. Third, the song playing in the background is "Lay Back" by Rick Ross [Zune Social], from my Zune of course.

For those who didn’t catch that, she has a Zune 30, loves it more than the new Zunes, listens to quite a few rock bands, and most of her friends have Zunes. And, at the end, she has a little something for Apple too. How’s that for Zune pride?

    Although, I wouldn't go as far as to call her annoying. I wouldn't even say that if she was enthusiastic about iPod. The point of it was she loves her device -- that's all.

    She did realize that I would post it. Also, I was sober when I filmed this. That's one reason why I was laughing so much because it was just so difficult to follow her.

    I like my Omnia as long as I remember it's a phone first and does everything else second. It's capable, if not a little slow at times (depending on the # of apps open). I asked my friend who uses a blackberry and he says his phone can get the same ways at times. So I suppose it's par for the course when you have phones that are capable of running multiple apps. I'm still a little cheesed that I just got this phone and it appears that I will not be eligible for the WM 6.5 update (this is the exact dichotomy between Zune and WM I was fearing).

    And no, I and Microsoft didn't pay her to say any of that. That's also why I was laughing at the end, it was completely unscripted.
