Meet Wes: Your Zune Pass Financial Planner

by Marques Lyons | 5/11/2009 in |

Zune unveiled a new web campaign featuring Wes, a financial planner who helps you understand the value of having a $14.95 $14.99 (I'm so used to writing .95 for everything) Zune Pass versus purchasing the music straight from iTunes.

For my money, it's a pretty interesting way to show the value of Zune Pass -- but it also reminds me of the recent MS campaign that shows people finding out that PC's are the best value for their dollar -- ah, the parallels...

You can check out the Wes campaign here.

By the way, Wes is an actual person :-)

Addendum: Here's the video that's on display at the zunepass.net site starring Wes.

Has it ever been $14.95 or am I just wrong. $.04 matter to a lot of people in this economy :-)

Looks like it was $14.99 the whole time, haha. I've edited the post to reflect that.
