So consider this a Colette [zune.net] weekend, folks. It began at Red Nightclub on Saturday night where she performed live. That was totally awesome. It's not every day that you listen to a DJ who not only spins records but sings her own songs live right there in front of you. I'll tell you something else that was interesting. Well besides that during her performance someone threw ice on her (man, that's some disrespect for you), Colette actually recognized me in the crowd. It probably helped that I've been chatting with her over Twitter and I was standing in the very front of the crowd when she started. However, to have her see me and know who I was is quite a thrill, let me tell ya.

Yesterday, I used her video "If" as the Sunday Treasures video. Today, I round out the weekend by pointing you to the fine folks at Rcrd Lbl who are offering a track from Colette free -- free for you to download and load onto your Zune!

The song that they are offering is "Think You Want It" from Colette's album "Push". Personally, I wish they had negotiated to offer "Like the Sun" -- primarily that was my introduction song to Colette's work. However, "Think You Want It" is still a great song to start with if you haven't listened to Colette before.
