Most remember a long time ago, when myself and Shane DeSeranno, from the Zune team began this community hashtag called #zunetune. The idea was that people via Twitter could submit songs to this large community-generated playlist of music for others to check out. While Shane was great in making a bit of software that could harness those tweets and create a playlist, the problem was that people had to routinely check for the updated file and place that file in their playlists folder.

The wonderful folks at Zune have taken the #zunetune hashtag and asked members of Zune Nation to submit songs that they thought should've been nominated for Grammy "Song of the Year". 15 of those songs have been officially made into a Mixtape under the Zune Tune umbrella.

To reach it, when you open the Zune software, click on Marketplace to Music to Playlists. It should be under "New Additions" (at the time of this writing) and is officially called "Zune Tune: Grammy Song of the Year".

If I may say it's so fantastic to see a community-generated playlist (especially a #zunetune playlist) get into the Marketplace so that anyone with the Zune software can check it out.

Kudos to #ZuneNation and Zune. You hit one out of the park!
