Zune Social: Calling all readers, writers, techies, nerds, geeks, social outcasts, comic book enthusiasts, movie go-ers, gamers, the socially awkward, freebie lovers, tv show addicts, and anyone else I may have left out.. The time has come for you to win more free shwag from us at Inside the Circle (ItC).
If you want in on the free stuff given away at the largest iPhone gathering ever.. I mean San Diego Comic-Con International 2010 (SDCCI), you're in the right place!*
Last year I sent approximately 30 pounds (14kg) worth of everything Comic-Con to readers in Idaho, California, Arkansas, and Pennsylvania. Maybe you can expand that list this year.. Maybe even to include our readers outside the US!
Dude, I still had stuff leftover for myself, my sister, my mom, my dad, friends, neighbors, the cousins, complete strangers.. You know.
If you don't know about Comic-Con, (WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN THE LAST 41 YEARS?! And why don't you read my posts!?), and aren't sure if you'd like any of the stuff you might win:
1.) Do some research and educate yourself on the largest convention dedicated to the pop arts and popular culture in the world.
2.) Television networks across the board want to get word out of their product. Underground companies/individuals along with large publishing companies are also competing for your attention.
What does that mean to you?
It means that just because you may not know what said free stuff actually is,
this free stuff is not cheesy, cheap, ghetto, or otherwise lame.That's what, son.
*TERMS OF SERVICE:
- This raffle giveaway will run from 10AM PDT on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 through 5PM PDT on Sunday, July 25, 2010; the length I will be at The Con.
- Any and all readers that enter are to be over the age of 18 at the time of applying to be eligible to win any one of the prizes.
- All you have to do to enter this giveaway is leave a comment with your first name and location of residence (something to the effect of "Connie in Oceanside, CA" or "Seamus from Ireland"). Anything else will not count as an entry.
- Eligible entries must be made directly on the ItC website.
- Entries made via Twitter, Facebook, etc will not count as entries.
- One entry comment, per reader.
- Entry in the raffle does not in any way, shape, or form guarantee that you will win.
- Any and all readers, writers for ItC, Zune employees, and MVP's may enter to win.
- 2009 winners, Comic-Con 2010 attendees, exhibitors, employees, and volunteers may not enter nor win.
- Winners will be announced between 26 July 2010 and 2 August 2010.
- If winner(s) does/do not respond to claim prize by 9 August 2010, the action shall be considered a forfeit of prize, and substitute winner(s) will be chosen.
- Winners may contact ItC with mailing information and, thus, claim prize at: socialcircle@live.com.
- ItC is not in any way, shape, or form at fault if winner(s) does/do not provide ItC with the correct mailing address.
- ItC is not in any way, shape, or form at fault if delivery service used (USPS) does not deliver adequately.
- Any returned prizes will not be resent.
- A minimum of four (4) winners will be chosen; one for each official day of The Con. However, there may be more depending on how things pan out.
- Each prize box will contain roughly the same amount of material.
- Contents of each prize box is unique.
- Special requests of any kind will not be made.
- ItC is not in any way, shape, or form at fault if contents of your box are broken or otherwise not intact.
